Multimedia Production (MMP)
The main purpose of the Diploma in Multimedia Production program is to impart professional knowledge and expertise required for Multimedia Production in the media industry. The Production sector of the media industry has undergone a vast change in the last few years with regard to multimedia Production. The production processes have seen a high level of creativity to achieve the maximum results. This has placed a demand for a certain level of creative personnel that meet the ever changing need in the industry which requires a blend of carefully chosen courses to produce individuals with the competency, creativity, right attitude and a strong drive to make a difference.
The programme focuses on industry relevant courses in practical areas that will serve as a bridge between academia and industry with an in-depth innovative facilitation by team of faculty members that delivers out of their years of expertise to create a pool of competent, competitive and relevant students.
The program includes courses that provide the student with core courses such as production management, communication skills, Entrepreneurship and African Studies. Students will be trained in Editing, Production design, Sound Production, 2D and 3D Animations, Graphic designs, sound engineering, Post Production Animation.
The course delivers a combination of technology and business related modules every semester, many of which are designed around accredited material from our industry practitioners. This affords students the opportunity to complement academic studies with hands-on experience with relevant industry practice.
